How do you think the Bills will look?
They will look good. It all depends on play calling really. If the coaching staff continues to be smart, and maybe opens up the playbook a bit more I believe the Bills will be just fine. Mcgahee will be key to success.
Will the young secondary stand up to Pennington's arm?
This is not a major concern for me. Pennington will continue to try and eat us up with quick short passes, not take advantage of our young safeties deep. The Jets will be forced to sustain long drives all day, Pennington will be efficient but not deadly.
Will the run defense get shredded by a (reportedly) mediocre running back?
No, Blaylock looked great when he was a Chief, but he hasn't shown any of that spark thus far with the Jets and Barlow just doesn't seem to be very effective at all.
Will Buffalo's anaemic offense show some life?
I believe the Buffalo offense has shown signs of life and more so each and every week. The thing that has happened though is we have gotton leads and been a bit overly safe and predictable. Nothing wrong with being safe with a lead, but predictability has hurt us once we've gotton in front.
Will Buffalo's defense keep up the momentum they've carried through the week?
That is tough to say really. The Jets offense is different from previous offenses we have faced. The Jets will test our secondary more as they will look to hit quick short passes on us. This is not something we've seen really. Chad will most likely be getting rid of the football very quickly, making it difficult to get the kind of sacks we did last week against Miami. On the overall though I don't think that the Jets can really hurt us. We will bend, but we will not break. We have a steady tackling secondary out there. I don't think you will see as many jet recievers breaking tacklers and running wild after the catch this week.
Will this be the typical Buffalo/Jets matchup; Tough, drawn out, bloody, take-it-to-the-wire?
I would say so. It will be a low scoring affair, and it all depends on Willis Mcgahee and our offensive line really. If Willis is effective and successful early and often we may be able to really take control of this game but if the Jets do a good job stopping the run, our coaching staff may be hesitant still to open up the offense and allow JP to start slinging the ball around more. We will have some single coverage deep in my mind, if JP and the coaching staff can recognize the oppurtunites and execute, I think we can make some big plays.
