For the Bills the Price is Right

After a visit last week to One Bills Drive, former Bills wide receiver Peerless Price became a member of the Buffalo roster again signing with the Bills earlier today. Price saw the irony in his returning to the team that made him a second round draft pick in 1999.
"It's very ironic," said Price. "Last week when I came in I had in mind that I wouldn't mind coming back here otherwise I wouldn't have made the visit. I had other options. It's great and it was a little easier because I've been here and know the city and know about the great fans here. My wife and I know the area so they're all positives for me."
Bills offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild who was on the Bills coaching staff the last time Price was on the Buffalo roster was excited to add him to his receiving corps.
"We're just really glad to have Peerless back being a Bill," said Fairchild. "My last year here Peerless had his big year. I know he's a talented guy and a veteran and will bring something to the group."
Price spent four seasons in Buffalo appearing in 64 games. He had 232 receptions for 3,302 yards (10.3 avg.) and 22 touchdowns from 1999-2002.
