See but you won't know if he can be that guy unless you get him in there...hypothetically IF he comes in this year and say goes for 20 Td's and shows improvement then you're set...you have your future QB..IMO

Yeah. You really don't know. I thought they did throw Losman in the fire last year though, and it seemed to me he failed. Not to say he's a bad player or anything else, but he failed to meet the coaches' expectations, plain and simple..

i think losman is overrated potential wise, i think buffs are in for sorta a miami qb slide

See, as far as last year I guess in a sense you're right about him not meeting expectations beings they did go back to Holcomb... |

It was his second year, but his rookie year he broke his leg (I think that's what it was) and never started an NFL game until last year. |

I could understand if he got to practice like Palmer or Rivers did, but there's not much you can learn with crutches...

Well said.. Hands-on practice will always teach you a lot more than anything you read.
