He wasn't nearly the same player he was back in 2004, and like I've said many times our back up and current starter Keith Ellison outplayed him on numerous occasions.

You're not getting the LB you think you are in TKO Spikes unless he fully recovers from his achilles injury THIS year.

He got outplayed by a 6th rounder who took his job and hasn't looked back. Not to mention Crowell is better.

7:25 PM POZ TURNS ANKLE: Paul Posluszny just turned his right ankle pretty badly in an individual position drill. It was non-contact and he was limping around. He's gutting it out a bit right now. We will see how much he's allowed to participate in team work later in practice. John DiGiorgio is already not participating.

8:39 PM POZ IN TEAM WORK: Posluszny is participating in 9-on-7 work. It looks like he's shaken off the turned ankle.

9:18 PM INJURY UPDATE: John DiGiorgio did not practice with a hip flexor but could be back in a day or two. Jason Webster was dealing with a tight hamstring and was held out. Anthony Hargrove tweaked his hamstring late in practice but its not considered serious. Paul Posluszny, who turned an ankle early, finished practice without any lingering problems.
