He's wearing an immobilizers boot right now. Chances are pretty good hes' out for this week, and probably next as well. As of right now, it's a short-term injury. Here's hoping.

It's the Achilles part that worries me.

The offense is definitely set up for short-intermediate throws, which is the bread and butter for TE's, so I definitely see them using the TE's quite a bit.

Unlike the Mike Martz-style offense then. I could see it.

Me too, though it's not torn, so that's a plus. Initial reports say it's just a sprain, along with a sprained ankle.

Yeah, I just don't want to see the sprain turn into a tear. For the ankle, enough tape will do the trick, but with an ACL at risk, even wearing a protective brace might not be enough.

steve johnson can fill in for josh reed easily. when reed ducked out of the way of a ball thrown to him by j.p. i lost all respect for him. hopefully the bills o-line can even protect the qb long enough for wr's to matter.

Trent had all day to throw the ball Monday night. The problem is that he couldn't find an open receiver.

How much of that is his issue and how much is it that his receivers just can't find separation? Evans is double-covered a lot, but what about the others?

I think it's a problem all the way around, not just one side or the other. Trent needs to figure out the 3-4 fronts with 7-8 people dropping into coverage. It'll come with time. Part of the problem Monday night was the lack of a play-action pass. They were running the ball well (174 rushing yards), yet did not once attempt a play-action.
