Peppers now has 8 sacks on the season, after sacking Kyle Boller twice today, and also forcing a fumble. Last year he had 10.5 total, and didn't even get his first until week 5.
Sack record, anyone?

he has always been freakin stud, he is just getting more opportunities this year and making the most of them, he has stepped up his game, it might be a tad early to call the sack record, as teams will be tripling him now, of course that is hard to do when you have to double one of jenkins or kemo and then leave rucker alone, i wouldnt be surprised at all if he made a run at the record or broke it

if he broke the sack record itd be more controversial than when Favre laid down for Strahan, being his history with roids.

I don't think roids use qualifies as much of a scandal in football. Even the Panthers debacle, how much press/attention did that really get? Not much that I can think of. It's more of a sidenote.
In football, all the guys are big and strong. The ones who use roids are just putting their health at risk.
And yeah I agree with the other post, I thought it was ephedra that Peppers was busted for.

It was a some kind of weight-loss/energy over the counter medication if i'm not mistaken, and he has not been linked with the recent steroid scandal at all. That was Sauerbrun and a few OL.
