I agree it was crappy. At the end of the game when it was 1st and 90 or something for the winnng score and Delhomme was getting pressured, I had to switch stations. I couldn't stomach the fact of watching him get sacked. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was a safety. Nick Goings is the most underutilized player in the league. Sure he caught a TD pass, but when it's 1st and goal from inside the 5, pound it, pound it, pound it. Give it to Goings. Sure Foster has showed his strength in the past, but Goings as the FB and Hoover playing HB in short yardage situations should be the way to go. I don't think we realize how much we miss Deanglo Williams since he's a rookie with limited playing time before his injury. Some people on NFL radio today criticized Jake for throwing the INT late in the game. People that don't follow the Panthers said that was a stupid decision to throw that pass. Jake has often done stuff like that - tried to thread the needle and make a play and how many times have we said "Oh no don't throw it....nice play." Or "I can't believe he threw that pass." The latter is what we all said Sunday afternoon. Time to put it behind us and focus on Dallas this week.
