Julius Peppers spent all of the Panthers' first minicamp at right defensive end.
The switch is official. Peppers has the size and quickness to tangle with left tackles. Right end is the primary pass rushing position. We can expect Peppers' sack total to at least bounce back some. He had only 2.5 in 2007.

The problem was lack of a secondary pass rusher. Mike Rucker was washed up last year - and the year before that. I'm interested as a Panther fan, to see how Charles Johnson (last years 3rd round pick) plays next season. When he played, I thought he applied pretty good pressure.
