Bombers Extend Giles
The Blue Bombers announced today they have extended the contract of import running back Lavarus Giles.
As per team policy, details of the agreement are not disclosed.
Giles (6-1, 213, Jackson State ‘08, DOB: Feb. 15, 1986 in Benoit, MS) is in his first season with the Blue Bombers after signing with the club in the offseason.
Giles had a very impressive training camp with the Bombers where in two preseason games he ran for 238 yards, scoring two touchdowns on only 26 carries.
"We're very pleased to extend the contract of a promising young running back like Lavarus," said head coach Mike Kelly.
