Bears to return all five starters from last years team
It's the same article as the Adams signing, but this is just as important
excerpt:
In other news, the Bears also re-signed Pro Bowl guard Ruben Brown to a one-year deal for $2.2 million, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton. With his re-signing and last year's extension given to center Olin Kreutz, the Bears will return five starters to the offensive line next season.

This is good news but it still leaves the problem of Grossman's inconsistancy.

I would give Rex another year to see what he can do. He has been hurt so much he played in more games last year than all the other added together.

I know what you mean and I'm sure Lovie will see to it.
But when Grossman sucks he lets the whole world know.

You have seen what he can do in some games. When he had his TE's healthy in the beginning of the year, then he was able to pass with more targets or more blockers and they blew up. He is still young and needs to learn consistency. It is not he hasn't won games on his arm or game before. I think another year should help him, I remember at like game 5 last year, people were comparing grossman to the next brady.

I know what your saying Ellis but(there's always a but)if Grossmans bad games were a QB rating of 50-70 I would feel much better about him.

Grossmans 6 worst QB rating games of '06 are
1. 0 vs Packers
2. 1.3 vs Vikings
3. 10.2 vs Cardinals
4. 23.7 vs Patriots
5. 34.9 vs Vikings
6. 36.8 vs Dolphins
This isn't including a 47.5 rating vs Packers in a 26-0 win the 1st game of the season.
The rest are 80 and above with most over 100.
He's either ICE COLD or Blazing hot. The bottom line is 45% of the time he's really bad. I don't remember any QB's having a season this lop sided.
