Default Disruptive Line Key To Defense's Success

Last season Adewale Ogunleye became the first Bears' defensive end to reach double digits in sacks since Richard Dent in 1993 and tackle Tommie Harris earned his first trip to the Pro Bowl.

Defensive end Alex Brown received one vote for NFL Defensive Player of the Year and defensive tackle Ian Scott was a steady presence at the nose tackle position.

Bears defensive line coach Don Johnson discusses the position with ChicagoBears.com:

definitely a solid oline and as long as they stay healthy, they should produce the same numbers if not better.

they won't use greise unless grossman gets hurt, which he has the last two years, or grossman is completely inneffective for several games.

The bears doubled their sack total in 2005 from 2004, this defensive line is very young as well. So I see them posting the same great numbers if not better.
