Well if you read the qoute from Lovie Smith, it says you will see all three guys out there showing what they can do, and they will all get reps.

Benson is just with the starting offense, because Jones had missed workouts.

exactly J, we are on the same wavelength in so many topics, as they start PRE SEASON benson is the starter, he may very well be the starter in week one, but you can be sure that jones will be given every opportunity to take back the #1 spot.

Let's face it, there's no way jones wont be seeing the ball this season, especially if there are gonna be 3rd and shorts

Like Proffesor mentioned, Jones is going to have the oppurtunity to win it back. Like I have stated several time, I see them splitting carries regardless the starter. Also I think Peterson is a very good 3rd string back.
