Default Rashied Davis....

Davis sure looks imressive so far or just coincidence? Whats your opinion?
Davis keeps eyes focused on end zone
By Larry Mayer
August 20, 2006

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Although Rashied Davis no longer plays in the Arena Football League-where touchdowns come in bunches-he's still trying to get into the end zone every time he touches the ball.
"You've got to think like that," Davis said. "Every time the ball is in my hands, I'm trying to get some extra yardage or I'm trying to make a play. That's been my mindset since I began playing."

Rashied Davis returned as kickoff 100 yards for a TD Friday night against the Chargers.
Davis has been successful in that pursuit, scoring touchdowns on a 41-yard reception in the preseason opener in San Francisco and a 100-yard punt return Friday night against San Diego.

I watched that game and that was an awesome kick return especially that one move he made.

Davis seems to be continuing his good performance on the field. Though last nights performance was not quite as impressive as the last game. He still impressed me. Last night he had 1 reception for 8yds,1 kickoff return for 24yds and 1 rush for 14yds. This may not seem impressive but there were many players involved in the game. Rashied seems very versatile.

I wonder what Davis has changed from last year? Wasn't he second to the fumbling Bobby Wade for the return position last year?

DBF I think so. I believe he was a CB don't know how much he played though. Then this year they decided to see what else he can do.

He was on the practice squad last year as a cornerback...

He has been impressive in the games to this point, but more important (to me at least) is the coaching staff and his teammates love him in practice. This is one of those dudes who appreciates his chance (coming from the arena league.)

Those are the types of people you want on your team. People that have had to take the long road to the NFL. Because once they get there they appreciate it all the more and usually are nothing but a positive atitude.

You got it MickeyG. And the coaching staff loves it when they can get a guy like that just so the other players see it...

Everybody loves team players. After all it is a team effort. Like you guys don't know that.lol
However Davis has made some spectacular plays and that's what gets noticed.
