when will Greise be the number 1?
The bears have always had mediocre or worse QBs and Greise seems to be the best so far but they are letting on as if he will remain #2. How long will Lovie wait to pull the string? I hope its by the last pre season game. I have tickets to that game and Id like to see him with the #1 unit and see the Browns D against a decent run game with a solid QB.

I think Greise will be the #1 only if it is apparent that Grossman cant lead the offense. I think if it happens, it will happen in the regular season

i agree with Grunt. Grossman will be the number one guy until he shows that he can't do it. I doubt they will make the switch in before the regular season.

Probably when it's too late. Last year when Grossman got hurt Orton played very well. Better than Grossman. Then when Grossman got better they put him in just in time to lose in the playoffs instead of leaving Orton in that's been playing most of the season? TBL is Lovie doesn't make very good decisions.

If Grossman has another bad outing I would hope to see Greise get his shot against the browns.

Grossman will be cut after this season if he gets injured/or plays the same as before imo
Griese is the obvious better choice btw

Grossman is getting no love from the fans, while when Greise came in they cheered the whole time, i think chicago wants Greise, while Lovie still insists Grossman is the #1.

Griese played very well last night. Grossman and Griese both had good completion percentage numbers. Griese being better though on all accounts. Higher yds per catch,1TD vs 1INT and 10 of 14 vs 13 of 21. Griese get the #1 if I'm the coach but I'm not so my guess is the incompetent Bears management will keep Grossman the #1.

I like Grossman, but it's clear that he has a lot of problem to find condition. He undergos the Griese pressure behind him, and Griese play the game very weel... we won't look the switch in preseason but, probably, in RS Smith will go for it.
