Michael Haynes is healthy and ready to make what could be his last stand as a Bear.
"If you think about it, this is the only game I have until final cuts," the fourth-year defensive lineman said, referring to Thursday night's preseason finale at Cleveland. "It's do or die, for not only me but a lot of other players."
Haynes, who was the 14th overall pick in the 2003 draft — the second draft for Bears general manager Jerry Angelo — stands on the verge of being pushed out of Chicago as a bust. Angelo's first first-round pick, tackle Marc Colombo (in 2002), is making strides now in Dallas after a severe knee injury ended his Bears career.
