Gould giving Bears a reliable leg to stand on

Robbie Gould's last trip to Cleveland was part of a weekend that he'll never forget.
Gould defeated several other hopefuls in a kicking derby at Halas Hall on the Friday before the Bears were due to face the Browns last October, signed a contract and then boarded a flight with his new teammates to Cleveland the next day.
Robbie Gould has improved the distance and height of his kickoffs in the preseason.
"It was a whirlwind," Gould recalled. "Everything happened so fast that I didn't really get a chance to think about too much."
Gould recently had time to reflect back on his special weekend while he prepared to make a return trip to Cleveland for Thursday night's preseason finale.
