Default Bears 20 Browns 7

Well for a preseason game all though against the Browns. Grossman finally threw a TD. Orton looked good except for a Int. Griese was 1-3 for 11yds. Makes me wonder if Lovie is saving him to start the first game in a suprise announcement?(yea right) Brad Maynard looked good punting. 3 punts for 48yd average with a long of 56yds. And Devin Hester ran back the first punt 54yds to setup chicago's first score.
Next @ Green Bay?

sounds like the Bears were good all around. Maybe Grossman can build off of this game and play better

K Train you better hope the Browns don't get lucky and beat the Stealers.
I'll never let you hear the end of it and I'll start with this quote.

OK, now youve crossed the line and i dont appreciate it. Charlie batch killed the Stains last year, and then Ben played the next one and it was a 41-0 route, Batch actually came in the game in the 4th and threw a 50 yard TD pass. When was the last time the browns beat the steelers, im gonna look it up, it mightve been during the 6-10 tommy maddox fiasco of a season.

Please if the steelers lose to the browns, please use that quote as your signature to remind me of the embarrasment, it wont happen, thats 2 extra bye weeks for the entire division, and the browns will recieve the first overall pick in the 2007 NFL draft with a 0-16 record and be the second team ever to go completly defeated.

K Train "IF" the Browns beat the Stealers. I really don't think I'll have to remind you of the humiliation(even though I will). I'll bet you'll have nightmares for weeks. Oh and if it's been a couple years since the Browns beat the Stealers that will just mean they're over due. You know it can happen to any team. And it has happened to every team.

October the fifth, 2002 the steelers fall to the Cleveland Stains for the final time in history of the series, it is never to happen again. They are regressing.

K Train you forget. The Browns were non exsistent for a few years when they moved to Baltimore. So one could say when Baltimore beats the Stealers. The Baltimore Browns beat the Stealers.

Detailed game summary here

Bears finish strong by hammering Browns
By Larry Mayer

CLEVELAND – Judging by their impressive performance in Thursday night’s preseason finale against the Browns, the Bears are more than ready for their Week 1 grudge match in Green Bay.

Chicago’s No. 1 offense scored a touchdown and a field goal on two possessions before exiting, while the first-team defense held Cleveland to 35 total yards and one first down on three series.

The Bears eventually defeated the Browns 20-7, finishing the preseason with a 2-2 record.

Rookie Devin Hester's 54-yard punt return set up the Bears' first touchdown..
Starting quarterback Rex Grossman delivered his best performance of the preseason, completing 5 of 8 passes for 73 yards with one touchdown and a 131.8 passer rating.

After the Bears forced the Browns to go three-and-out on the game’s opening possession, electrifying rookie Devin Hester returned the ensuing punt 54 yards to the Cleveland 20.
