LAKE FOREST, Ill. – As an NFL color analyst for Fox, every Sunday is exciting for Tim Ryan. But this weekend’s game between the Bears and Lions is one that’s circled on his calendar.

Fox-TV analyst Tim Ryan hasn't been back to Soldier Field since his playing career ended.
“I’m probably going to have a flashback,” Ryan said. “I know (the stadium) looks a lot different from what I’ve heard, but it’s going to bring back a lot of feelings for me.”
Ryan remembers his first NFL game—a 17-0 Bears win over the Seattle Seahawks in the 1990 season opener—like it was yesterday. He also fondly recalls playing for loyal fans and with great teammates such as Mike Singletary, Dan Hampton, Richard Dent and Steve McMichael, who stood up in his wedding.
