Default Potent passing game exceeding expectations

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – With a healthy Rex Grossman back under center, the Bears expected their offense to take flight this season. But virtually no one anticipated just how prolific the passing attack would be in back-to-back blowout wins over the Packers and Lions.

After two games, Grossman ranks first in the NFL with a 128.7 quarterback rating and an average of 10.4 yards per attempt and is tied with the Giants’ Eli Manning and the Eagles’ Donovan McNabb for the league lead with five TD passes.

He has definitely exceeded the expectations so far, but the Packers and Lions are not a true test of that ability.

This I would completly agree with!! I don't really think Minnesota is that great of a challenge for the Bears offense either,IMO. They're real challenge won't be until the matchup with the Hawks on the following Sunday night

Like I said before... I love this season's schedule...

Packers, Lions, Vikes...

Worst, Bad, Better

then a very strong seattle team... build up the confidence and it's all just natural progression from there.

^^^^ Exactly, those first to games gives the bears and Grossman confidence that he can execute their offense, its better that he goes into the rest of the season with a 100+ rating against bad teams, than if he had a 70 rating against top teams.
