They could probobly get a day 1 pick for him now. If he gets a few more starts in the next couple of years, they may be able to get a first rounder

I dont know if they should trade him or not. He probably will never be a starter in the NFL unless he gets a break from an injury, and really impresses(moreso then he did in his first go around)in that chance. He may be happy being Rex's backup here once Griese is gone. You need a good backup in the NFL.

It depends on what his value in the trade market will be. It will take a first rounder to get Shaub out of Atlanta. If Orton gets a few starts in the next couple of years, and plays well, he could comand that.

I agree you need a good backup in the NFL, but if Orton can land you a top starter down the line, I say you make that move. You can always get a Kelly Holcomb, Jeff Garcia, Jay Fielder type who may want to come to Chicago and try to get a ring.

I would NOT want Holcbomb, Garcia, or Fielder as the teams starting QB.

Im talking back-up. Im just thrown out names of Vets. IMO the best backup the Bears could want is a game manager type, and thats Greise to a tee. They should keep him as long as he is willing to stay their. If he does leave, I think they should replace him with someone similar
