Dude Benson was wrong...plain and simple. When Randy Moss did it he was called out in the locker room and nobody did anything to try and make the guys confronting him about it into bad guys. You are being paid to show up, play your best, and stay there until the game is over. I mean how difficult is this. From what I have been gathering not too many Bears players like Benson. It is obvious to me that the guy has talent but also has a head full of bad wiring.

Now sure it wasn't the best thing for the players to drop the dime on him and tell everyone that he had left but if no big deal was made about it he would likely keep doing it. It's not fair to the UDFA and late round picks that aren't likely to make the roster that this guys gets to go do what he want when he wants just because he was a top 5 pick in 2005. I heard he wanted to find out who told on him, and I heard it was multiple players. I want him to try and confront Urlacher about it, now that would make me watch a Bears game.

Benson was wrong, but a lot can be forgotten by production on the field. Thomas Jones has seemed to have matured into the RB he was drafted to be years ago, but Benson is also a young back in the wings. If Chicago can work this out a Benson/Jones backfield could be something to work to Chicago's advantage. RBBC's in today's league are very common and do work out quite well. Pay a young man millions, you can't expect them to be extremly disciplined, young guys make mistakes, I really don't think Benson is as bad as he's been made out to be and I would like to see Chicago get the most out of having to solid backs in their backfield!
