Chicago Bears SS Mike Brown (Achilles') practiced Wednesday, Sept. 6, and is questionable for Week 1. He is expected to play, but in a reserve role.

All things considered, the fact he is healthy enough to play at all works for me. If the Bears were playing a decent team I might be a bit more worried.

what happened to them just being overly cautious during the preseason....

this injury is probably some how related to his mysterious calf injury... his career is done.

looks like Mike Brown will never be the same for some reason....... Hope he can conquer this.....Man looks like Chris Harris will be SS and D Manning will be the FS for most of the season I guess.....
