They seem to be pass blocking okay though and judging by the result vs seattle last week that detroit defence isn't that terrible.

Some of the issues in the running game do seem to be related to the line, but I just don't think the backs are up to speed yet either and are making things look worse than they actually are.

I really do not mean to take away from the O-Line's play but the Detroit pass rush was pathetic today. I think the backs are a part of the problem too having both missed large proportions of training camp but what I am seeing is the O-Line failing to explode off of the ball as they did last season and get the leverage on the defense.

Minnesota is a more difficult test, IMO. We'll see next week.

First of all does anyone on this site know any good recipe for crow? We might have to make 2 batches because the first will be all gone before everyone who needs to eat it gets their chance. This applies to both Bears fans and non-Bears fans.

Secondly who is Desmond Clark and what's a "Tight End"? Does this have something to do with that "pass" thing that Rex Grossman has been doing? Oh... you say Clark has been on the team this whole time and they've always had a "tight end"? What was he doing before?

Grossman mixes up his play actions really well too. He can play action both ways... I cant remember a QB that did this in a Bears uniform. Well.. Cordell did it okay, but hes a bad example on a totally incomplete bears team. Even McMahon went to the same direction most of the time. Frikkin A Rex.. soon he's going to fool cameramen on a weekly basis.
