Chris is gonna move to SS soon enough anyways....Barring injury that is....At least The Bears are sorta deep at saftey and DB this year not have to rely on mike green, Todd Johnson and/or Chris Thompson this year.....

Rex should have been picked off a few more times. He is still a little bit raw: throwing off his back foot, not looking off defenders at times, taking too many risks while trying to "thread the needle".

He looks so much like an unpolished Favre, he has that cannon arm and can make all the throws. His inexperience shows though. When we have to play a team like Minnesota or Seattle in the coming weeks, we will have to get a running game going, if the offense is forced to lean on the passing game against Minnesota or Seattle, I don't think we will be as fortunate.

I'm happy that he threw more TDs than any other QB today but he has got to get under more control, IMO. Same with Hester, these high risk-high reward type plays could hurt us if they continue.

I am impressed with the team, however, Minnesota and Seattle are not Green Bay and Detroit. They better "bring their lunchbox" next week.

Actually agree with ya Raise....Off the top of my head I think there were 3 or 4 passes in tight coverage...Not to mention the INT for a TD that called back due to penalty.......Guess we will see on Rex....But he has looked better then I thought he would thus far.....

Every QB makes 3 or 4 bad decisions every game, even the good ones. But your offense has balance, protection has been impeccable, defense dominant and your WRs havent dropped a pass yet nothing comes of them.

It's calling "things falling into place", I havent been alive to see that happen on the Bears offense.

Time for the Grossman bashers to step up.

i said it in another thread, grossman has done a 180 compared to the pre-season. all along i was just concerned that he may bring the team down, but so far he hasn't, on that point i admit i've been wrong (so far).

HOWEVER, we have played two god awful football teams, so let's not go paving his way to canton after two games. 7/8 of the season is left to play.
