They need a far better mix than what they have right now. Jones gets almost all the carries the whole game, and Benson gets carries in garbage time. The problem I have right now, even though Jones is runngin against stacked lines, is that he is dancing far to much. He faced stacked lines last year and still got 1,300 yards. The o-line not clicking yet is also part of the problem, but if he'd just get the ball and go, instead of hop, skipping, and then going we might have a more effective running game.

TJ would have to average 91 YPG for the next 14 games to continue his streak.
Who knows, if they start opening up some real holes, he might get a few good games to make that easier.

ill be honest and say straight up that i want to see benson just bang on people for 4 quarters. its good football to watch and it does demoralize the other team. but if theyre gonna split carries in the way that they are 3 quarters/1 quarter then bensons pounding attack will bear more fruits.

Did Benson die or something? He never even sniffed the field today and there were a bunch of times he could have been used in short yardage situations.
