am i the only one thinking the bears have this thing backwards. from what ive seen from benson, the bears should let him pound on a defense for 3 quarters, and then let jones in to dance around weary d-lineman and linebackers in the fourth quarter. neither back is lighting it up, but i think the fruits of benson punishing people for three quarters outweigh what jones is bringing.

I'd Like to see Benson get a few More Reps.
so far our run game has been inafective....
i think its more to do with the Offensive line Not making
any holes for the RBs.

that i agree with. But its all politics with Jones/Benson....if Benson hadn't had that shoulder injury in preseason Phish's proposed 1-2 punch would be in place....but since he did, Jones is at the top spot. Hopefully they will gradually give benson more carries.

But as said above, let them stack 8 in the box and go to man coverage, Rex seems more than adequate enough to get the job done through the air.

the shoulder makes sense as a reason to keep the load on jones. and as noted sooner or later teams are gonna have to play honest against the pass. till then i guess air it out out rex.

i read this stat and found it to be pretty amazing...although i think this streak will end this season:

Bears running back Thomas Jones is the only player in NFL history to increase his rushing total in each of his first six seasons.

It seems that every team is using 2 RB's a lot this year, I guess in an effort to save some wear and tear on the main guy, and to offer different running styles to defenses.

From a fantasy standpoint, it's been harder for me to get points from my RB's.

I DON'T THINK PLAYING ONE OF THEM FOR 3 QUARTERS AND THEN THE OTHER IN THE 4TH IS THE ANSWER. THEY NEED TO LEARN TO MIX BOTH OF THESE GUYS IN DURING THE ENTIRE GAME.
