You could sub Jim Johnson in for Gregg Williams in the title of this thread.

Taylor's had a subpar season, everytime I see him he makes a few big hits here and there, but it hardly makes up for the bad angles, blown coverages, and costly penalties I've seen. He's having a bad year though and the guy's gonna be mint next year im sure.

The entire defense has been bad.

Of the few Skins wins this year, Taylor is partly responsible for two of them.

Yesturday, against the Panthers, he made a huge stop on 4th down on the Panthers last drive when they were in the redzone I think. Plus, if he didnt return the blocked FG against Dallas to give their kicker a chance, they probably wouldve lost in overtime because of Brunell.

Also, he shut down great receivers this year and has been the only consistant player on the skins D along with Washington.

I watched the Panthers-Skins game yesturday, and their D brought it all up. Springs shut down Smith all day long and only allowed a short TD which he had no shot at all on the play. ****ing Daniels got a sack too.

Also, if youre talking about penalties.. well.. when you have a hard-hitting safety who tends to be a bit too much physical, the refs are going to call roughing everywhere. They even gave him a holding on the Panthers game when it was all on Springs. Take out the horrid charging with the helmet call on the Vikes last drive and the Skins wins that game too.

Don't judge them by what you saw on Sunday - they actually looked MUCH better against Carolina. All the little things.
