Start with firing Turner, then get an O.C who can actually judge talent properly, knows how to use it, and most importantly, is capable of designing plays for the avaiable talent that is present. Somebody like that could probably draft a capable QB.

2 bad moves for the Bears IMO started this

1. Letting go of Thomas Jones

2. Getting rid of Tank Johnson before everything was ironed out.

The running game or lack of is killing Chicago IMO, I understand where Benson was picked and all that but Jones was consistent and loved in the locker room. If yuo are going to go with a guy like Griese or even Grossman you need a running game.

The DT's have killed Chicago all year long and having Tank would have helped...especially now when he was due back.

I really dont think they are married to Quinn especially p9icking him where he was wont cost them a ton of money like Rivers did in SD.
Good point, but another thing to consider is what if they think Quinn is "Their guy". It seems alot of coaching staffs get retarded about that. If tender him any team can sign, the just have to pony up a 1st and 3rd

Exactly. They got Walker who is supposed to be better than Tank, and he's been hurt. This D has suffered with the loss of Tank, and with Anderson starting over Brown. Babich is NOT the answer, and I don't know what Lovie was thinking with that move.

There was something written about how when he got a new contract with the Rams, he did the same thing with personnel moves... making his own decisions and bringing in freinds in hopes that everything would be ok, instead of sticking with what worked. I think Lovie has a bit too much power in this organization at this point, and needs help with these decisions which he is screwing up so badly.

I do think they think of Quinn as "their guy" but at the same time Anderson is looking to go to Hawaii and has been GREAT since getting the job.

I think they will eventually push Quinn in there to start but I don't see it for at least 2 maybe 3 years unless yuo see Anderson get hurt or hold out. The politics will come into play but not that soon IMO.

It also wouldnt have hurt to toss Rivera a little extra to stick around either...
