If a team cuts a player, under contract, they take the cap hit and pay whatever the termination fee is stipulated in the contract, simple.
if a player refuses to honor his end of the deal, the team should be able to jettison him with no penalty, league imposes a lifelong ban - bye bye no more NFL for you - simple.
