For a little while now, the rumor that Odell Thurman has been suspended by the league or is about to be has been floating about on the internet. I'd love to be able to shoot it down here and now but I can offer another rumor that sounds a little more realistic.

Odell has gone back to finish his degree. That's it. Plain and simple. And if this is the case, then it would make sense why he has missed voluntary practices and why no one in the media has reported on his status. In my opinion, the media is leaving him alone to study in peace. If all of this is the case then the media have my profound kudos!

...but then again, ...its just another rumor.

i haven't heard anything about Odell getting suspended, and it is believeable that he went back to go get his degree. Ray Lewis did it. However, i doubt that the media is leaving him alone so he can study in peace.

cincy's defense doesn't get the credit they deserve, they got adams for the line and they did lead the league in interceptions and +/- ratio last year by alot. They will not be bad this year and oneal is the man at corner.

I'd say our D secondary will be stifling opponents this season. Getting Williams back and letting Ohalette go makes all the difference.

that is why I can't understand why people say that cincy's defense is bad, it is like are they blind. LOL

it's because that the offense is so good they over shadow the defense and no one pays any attention to how good their D actually is.

We've been bad for so long throughout the 90's that the media is gunshy about supporting us. They've been burned before so this time they are going to let us prove it first. (IMO)

They kindof remind me of the Bills of the early 90's in that respect, their Offense was dominating, and their Defense was solid (expcept when they los Smith that one year) but they were always considered a marginal at best defense
