Rudi Johnson is the starter for the Bengals this preseason will be about deciding who will be his backup. Chris Perry has had that job the past few years but he has not been what the team thought he would be when they drafted him in the first round. So much so that they spent a second round pick on Kenny Irons this past April in hopes of find a solid backup and maybe even a starter in the future.
