I like the current uniform and helmet. i also liked the old helmet that they had back in the 1970s when they had kenny anderson at quaterback

Kenny was the first QB to play in the new helmet. It had one less stripe on it back then and was changed once more in the year before Boomer took us to the Superbowl. One more stripe was added.

I think he means the old helmet where it just had "Bengals" written in an arch across the side.

LOL, ok guys, allow me to clarify my statement. I wanted to point out that Anderson too had played in the new helmets. That's all. Yes, I remember the old helmets too. I'm 46 years old, ...I should!

I also believe the old helmets were too similar to the Browns and made it easier to throw to the wrong person in some scramble situations. That is why I was really in favor of changing the helmet back then.
