One of the many risks the Bengals are taking by taking a chance on so many characters, is that down the line they may not be able to gamble on a great prospect who has issues. Towards the end of the Cowboys dynasty, Moss fell right into their laps in the draft, but because of all the blacks eyes they took from Irvin, and Erik Williams just to name a couple, they were unwilling to take the risk involved with Moss, and passed him up for David Lafleur.

LOL, ...we've got more than enough newsmakers on this team so it wasn't for the exposure.

We all know the Ravens. Marvin has no fear of bad press and shrugs it off easily since he is more than willing to give a kid a chance if he seems ready to straighten up. Yes, it is a gamble but it seems worth it if the whole team is ok with it. They seem to be ok with Henry so, ...we shall see.

No matter what the kid has to make the team so he better be good because he's got a lot of competition to earn a spot.

Ive made the comparison before of the Bengles now and the Cowboys in the early years of their dynasty. But that seems to be going both directions, with the Bengles taking on alot of charactor ?'s.It isnt a problem now, but it wasnt an issue with the Cowboys until Irvin allegedly raped a stripper. Marvin has no fear now, and yes he does have expirience with ?'s goinmg back to his Raven days, but down the line he may not want to deal with those ?'s, and say a rare prospect with character ?'s falls in his lap, he may not be able to take that risk.

what is strange is that since they got john cooper in the scouting system they have been able to get good offensive talent (not saying that he is the reason but he always had talent at ohio state) but they took a chance on that guy from oregon who was a DB that got shot and fell in the draft I think his name was weathersby. why not take a chance on known talent.
