A bench warrant has been issued for the arrest of a woman who authorities say falsely accused Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry of rape.

A warrant was issued Monday for the arrest of Monica Beamon after the 18-year-old Cincinnati woman failed to appear for her trial before Kenton District Judge Douglas J. Grothaus. Beamon is charged with filing a false police report.

Prosecutor Amy Burke said the accused likely will face an additional charge of bail jumping, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a $500 fine. She said Beamon was present at prior court appearances and was represented by counsel before she failed to appear at a status conference Thursday and Monday's trial.
