the Bengals have signed head coach Marvin Lewis to a two year extention. He is now signed through 2010

That's a great move. The Bengals are really the ones to watch next year, I think...

That is a great move by Cincinati...he has had a HUGE impact there, one of the better job IMO of turning around a team.

I don't think Cincy will be as dangurous next year. Rudi is another year older. ? at qb (do they still have Kitna as a back up), the D has been exposed, shall i go on...
Chad Johnson will still be good

If Palmer makes a recovery, they'll be great. If he doesn't, they'll be only average. We'll see. I'm feeling San Diego or Denver will be AFC Champs next year, Cincinatti as a 3rd choice. That is of course subject to change until the season starts though..

I totally agree with Storm, if he's healthy they have an O that can rival the Colts and just need to add some D...

Cincy has improved tremendously, but as much as they have improved, I still think they overachieved last year. And until Cincy can find a way to win meaningful games, they will continue to be the Bungles, even with a good if not great offense. And if Carson doesn't make a speedy and complete recovery, they will be an average offense. Plus, I doubt if Kitna will be the backup much longer, which doesn't bode well for them either. Bottom line, when you make the playoffs, and there are more opposing fans at your stadium than hometowners (I was in attendance) - well, that says it all. I'm a Browns fan, and I was embarrassed for the Queen City on that day.

I guess they overachieved from a Bengals standpoint last year but you could see that they could play...they just don't have a D. IMO if Carson comes back fine they IMO are SB contenders especially with the development of Pollack and Thurman they have a nice nucleus and IMO are only a piece or 2 away.
