Andre Smith Back With Alvin Keels

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports the NFL Players Association has confirmed that Bengals first-round pick Andre Smith has filed paperwork making Alvin Keels his agent, reuniting the two.
Keels was Smith’s original agent, but Smith fired Keels on April 11. Three days before the April 25 draft, Andre Smith hired Rick Smith and Priority Sports, which many thought helped solidify his draft standing.
But on May 10, Andre Smith filed termination papers against Rick Smith and Priority and three days later Keels tweeted on his Twitter feed that he was in a battle to win back Smith’s services. Priority Sports is considering filing a complaint with the NFLPA because during the five-day termination period, agents are prohibited from initiating contact with a player.
