The Browns' scheduled bye is for Week 6. Pencil in Braylon Edwards' return for the following weekend, Oct. 22, at home against Denver.
That leaves four preseason and five regular-season games for a replacement to emerge among Frisman Jackson, Brandon Rideau, Joshua Cribbs and rookie Travis Wilson.

Hopes for Week 7 return
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...wire&type=lgns
Update: Edwards is scheduled to return in Week 7 against the Broncos, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Recommendation: Edwards' Oct. 22 planned return is good news for fantasy general managers. Drafting him could be a risky proposition, as he will probably need a few weeks to get into game shape. He could be a sleeper free agent pick if he is available in your league. We will continue to monitor his progress.

in by week ten, full speed at game 10-11, if he stays healthy, he is a late season waiver wire pickup, he is not risky, he is just plainly not a good pick to be drafting. It would actually be a waste of a roster spot for 3/4ths of the season.

He is on my radar for my salary cap team, he could be a hot pickup late in the season, and rake in some dough

Yes I wish they had a spot for the IR in my Fantasy Football League...so I could just put him there and add someone else.
