no word right now, he could miss significant time during the season.

that sucks, i was a huge Edwards fan and really wanted him to be the next Moss, just not with the attitude. I just hope when he comes back he is healthy and ready to play.

The top 10 has been a particularly crappy place to draft receivers as of late, going back to Peter Warrick, other than Fitzgerald, and to an extent Roy Williams their havent been that many success. Im sure im missing a few tho

you are also missing 2004 - reggie williams - not good so far, 2003 - Carlos Rogers and Andre Johnson - Rogers has been a bust, but Andre has done good except for last year and now has moulds to help him get better, 2002 - none in top ten, 2001 - Koren Robinson and David Terrell - niether studs, 2000 - Peter Warrick, Plaxico Burress and Travis Taylor, only Burress is worth anything, 1999 - Torry Holt and David Boston, Holt is the man, 1998 - none in top ten, 1997 - Ike Hilliard, he is alright, but not a #1 guy, 1996 - Me-Shawn #1 pick overall and Terry glenn, both adequate receivers but never studs, 1995 - Joey Galloway, Michael Westbrook and JJ Stokes - Galloway could have been something special if not for all the injuries.

I definitely agree with grunt, though

this is from an article in the cleveland plain dealer on the 16th of June

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/plai...640.xml&coll=2

Receiver Braylon Edwards - the other half of the Browns' dream duo in their revamped passing attack - won't be available at this minicamp and will be limited in what he can do in training camp.

Edwards tore his right ACL after catching two touchdown passes from Charlie Frye in the Jacksonville game Dec. 4. He had surgery a month later. The nine- to 12-month recovery timetable may leave him inactive until a month or more into the season.

this is from an article yesterday in the cleveland plain dealer

Feeling frisky:

http://www.cleveland.com/browns/plai...l=2&thispage=2

Edwards ran gassers with the team after practice and sometimes got competitive, trying to race the guys around him. But Crennel doesn't think he'll need to rein him in. "As long as he's running straight ahead, it's OK," Crennel said. "What we're trying to limit is the cutting and planting." . . . Tight end Steve Heiden sat out Sunday's practice with a tight hamstring.

That's the latest

I need Braylon to come back for my fantasy team, I wasnt aware of how long the recovery was for him.
