I think the new regime there with crennell will turn things around. they were prolly punished by the football gods for getting rid of BB too soon. Look what he did in NE and in fact, how funny is it that crennell came from his system to coach the browns. anyway, there is still time for frye, edwards, wimbley and even winslow as well. patience is a virtue.
Yeah if you look at the history of the browns they good good players past their prime and let players go before they develop. You know they had Mccardell, pre playmaker, rison post playmaker, byner they gave up on but brought back washed up sent henry to dallas after 2 strong seasons at db got miller at LB at the end of his career, it just doesnt stop. Any way my gripe is that they shouldnt focus too much on the d-fense I am a defensive coach and decent judge of talent(IMO) I think the special teams has been so bad it should be called the teams for the gifted. What did they avg on punts 36 yds net? get some quality free agent offensive talent to achieve stability and stop the 3 and outs, get a proven punter and return guy. I dont want to watch the cleveland bears of all D and no O
LB, I agree with you on that one, they should have taken Bunkley, he could have stopped the run and put good pressure on the QB. He did it consistently in college and should have been the #1 and Justice #2, the Eagles got the better players in those rounds, the Browns blew it AGAIN.

when the browns didn't take bunkley I was a bit surprised, but I knew they were high on wimbley, then when justice slipped to us in the second, i thought that I was dreaming. LOL
