Noisemaker for No. 2
Anderson (229 pounds), who has been inconsistent in practice, maintained his poise during the game-winning drive. First, he was sacked for a 5-yard loss, but he then hit receiver Kendrick Mosley with a 21-yard pass to convert a third and long.
Next, he had to overcome two bad exchanges with center Alonzo Ephraim. The first one was a bad shotgun snap that Anderson - who's had snap issues with the backup centers all camp - deftly recovered and threw away.
"One of the defensive linemen yelled the cadence and Alonzo thought it was me," Anderson said. "But we recovered it and got it out and it wasn't a bad play."
Three plays later, Anderson fumbled the snap and covered the ball for a 1-yard loss at the Bills' 17. Chandler lined up and hit the game-winning field goal.
"The snap at the end was just a miscommunication between everybody," Anderson said.
