Default Trade Brady Quinn For a Draft Pick

With the Browns increasing their offer for Derek Anderson to 3 years and $20 million dollars, it seems as if they're putting their a lot of their chips onto the table when it comes to having a quarterback. The Browns also are without a first round pick this year (it went to Dallas), so it wouldn't be out of the question to trade Quinn and possibly their second round pick to try and land a top 12 pick. A nice scenario would have hiim going to the Ravens for their 8th pick of the draft. The Ravens need a quarterback and may go with Brohm. Quinn is a better prospect and already has a year worth of experience when it comes to the ins and outs of the league. Anderson, Winslow, Lewis, and Edwards form a nice scoring core. Their biggest need is a defensive end and a guy like Vernon Gholston would be a great pick.

I am not sure how sold on Anderson the Browns are. If they were sure he would be their QB of the future they would offer more than a 3 year deal. Also they would not have shopped him around earlier. So if they are no sold on him they will not trade Quinn. Right now they are doing like the Chargers did just a few years before. While it will cost them a lot of cap space they will keep both around untill they are sure which one they want. If some one offer the right package they might trade Anderson now but it would have to knock your socks type of offer and I just do not know if anyone will do that right now.

Brady slipped to 22.

Thats 780 on draft chart + 340 for 2nd. Not enough to get into the top 12, if you go by charts.
