I think that Ole Miss is showing what the SEC is all about. Ole Miss is not one of the elite of the SEC, and they have already put up 521 yards of offense against Texas Tech. There is no defense in the Big 12, and I think that Florida will win this game 65-35
TT came out just as flat as on Ol' Miss, as they did on us! Too bad! There has been alot of underclassmen blues pertaining to the defense and it's off and on again consistency. Such as Colby Whitlock...true FR., 6'4"/295. and many other Soph. A lot of inexperienced frustration.
You are saying what I have been saying all year. i think the highest rated defense in the Big XII is somewhere around 60 or so. I know that Alabama lost to Utah but I almost knew that would happen being as they were down because of missing out on the National Championship. Don't be suprised to see that happen to the Longhorns tonight either.
UT clearly has the talent to beat Ohio St. If Colt McCoy is incorporated into the offense as the QB/RB when necessary this could create problems for the OSU LBs! He has done it before and just ruined good defenses! Not to mention, he can throw very well. UT's defense is fast and very physical...I don't see any problems, their secondary is very fast and covers well!
Could be the case but yoou can never underestimate the fact that these "kids" will still be thinking that they belong in the NC game and not playing OSU. I can't say that they will but I was just saying don't be too suprised if they come out flat.

There's also the "psychological" advantage that Texas has, in that OSU has embarrassed itself in the last two bowls. That's gotta play on the Buckeye's mind set. I'm thinkin' Texas wins 28-17.

Difference between Texas and Alabama is that Texas didn't get the chance to win the conference whereas Alabama did have that shot and couldn't get it done against the Gators. Bama should've been up for Utah but had absolutely nothing. Changing out one o lineman that caused the shuffle there might be part of the excuse but then not adjusting the game plan enough to get past that is a terrible error. JPW should've been in the shotgun all night long and I don't understand why they tried going right up the middle so many times. Two big errors that cost them the game.

No way is this game that low scoring Gunner. Texas wins but they'll at least be in the thirties if not forties and Pryor will have the Luckeyes in the end zone at least 3 times.
I understand your point but after Bama got beat I think that it just took the wind out of their sails. They were really expecting to go undefeated and have a chance to play in the NC game but when they got beat and had all that time to look back on how they failed it killed the mooral of the team. It wasn't the best coaching job but the guys just didn't look into the game at all.
Very true LSU4LIFE! Those Bama boys looked like the last thing they wanted to do was play another football game. Especially once it hit the third quarter.
Gunner I'll give you props now for picking a low scoring Texas win. Can't believe it! I was thinking 35-21 or something but they hit the half at 6-3??? Unbelievable!
Now can somebody tell me why the Buckeyes went for two on that last TD? If they got it then they were up only by 6 and a TD beat them, if they kicked the convert they were up by 5 and a TD beat them but instead they missed everything were up by 4 and a TD beat them. Sweater Vest will have to answer that later.
Yea that was a close call on the game. Nice pick. I did think that Texas would come out flat and they did. The only thing that saved them was Bennie Wells didn't play in the second half and that killed them as well as the going for two on the last TD. Texas was less than impressive IMO.
