USC and Miami are both surprises. I wonder where they will have Auburn, the team that returns 3 starters on both sides of the ball.

USC!? Gimme a break... Ranking them anywhere on this list is a waste of time and as such it won't happen... The NCAA hasn't forgotten about the scandle and so they won't be giving props to the Trojans because it then will raise all sorts of problems come bowl time and what have you... "Well you're good, but you didn't beat USC..." etc.

Man. Athlons rankings so far are totally WHACK! In my humble but correct opinion.

How's this for a top ten?

http://cfn.scout.com/2/1069335.html

4 SEC, 4 Big 12, Zero Big 10, I like it.

Also this is a well-informed in-depth preview of Mizzou which y'all probably wont read.

Well after looking at several other rankings, I think that Boise will end up being in the top 10.

Honestly losing 2 recievers and having everything else in place looks real good to me. I don't care how good the reciever were. The easiest positions to replace are probably RB and WR with all the talented athletes out there. If they have are good in the trenches and on defense (we know they have a QB) I look for them to be every bit as good as last year. Again, I'm no Bronco fan.

They lost Jeron Johnson too, he lead the team in tackles. And Winston Venable, who was their defensive MVP a year ago, so they lost more than just the leading WRs.
