We were lucky....we missed most of it. The Beaches did take a little hit and there were a lot of flooded roads, but very little damage. I'm about 10min inward of the water so I missed the blunt. Did have several trees get blown down but I don't know of any major damages from them

Good deal- glad to hear it. I know Chise in somewhere around Atlantic City so he may not have been so lucky

in pa we have a lot of trees down and the schools are all closed 2 days in a row. My factory also shutdown today. No tractor trialors allowed on the road. Got some water in the basement but nothing a shop vac can't take care of

we are 2 1/2 hours NE of Philly and 2 1/2 hours west of NYC. Pretty much equal distance. Wasnt really much of a threat of flooding other than the Susquehanna River. But even that wasnt even close to cresting point.

Good- Glad all is OK for you. Wish we were that close to NYC. I get up there a couple of times every year, but usually just passing thru. My wife is from Scotland so we usually connect in Newark when we go back to see her family. Actually were supposed to have left to go thru there on the 29th, but we delayed our trip until Christmas. Glad now that we did.

SD, yeah I'm in Atlantic City. Most of the city is in shambles. I was one of the lucky ones.....lost power for 24 hours, cable & internet finally came back on this morning (Sunday), zero damage to my place (live wayyyy above the ground). The pieces of Boardwalk you might've seen on the news were literally a couple hundred feet from me.

Glad you're OK Man. Sounds like you were pretty fortunate. Will they have to close down the schools? If so, I guess you'll have an unplanned vacation. You can always roll out to Oklahoma for a few days. We've got plenty of cold beer here...

Schools re-open tomorrow. Funny you say vacation......our State Teacher's Convention was supposed to be this week (Thursday & Friday), but since it's been cancelled we'll be in school instead. Basically we'll be making up a couple of the days we lost this past week.
