SEC Has 6 teams in the Top 9. South Carolina at 9 ahead of two one-loss teams from the ACC? Maybe there's a reason there are so many one or two loss SEC teams. Who have they played?
Answer-
Georgia: Buffalo & Florida Atlantic- Both at home
South Carolina: East Carolina & UAB- Both at home
LSU: North Texas, Washington & Idaho- All at home
Florida: Bowling Green and LaLafeyette- Both at home
Texas A&M: SMU, SC State & La-Tech (Amazingly, La-Tech was a road game)
Now look at some of the scores- A&M over La-Tech by 2; Florida over La-Lafeyette by 7; Lowly Buffalo scored 23 against that awesome SEC defense; Towson scored 22 vs LSU (and the Tigers beat 2 & 8 Auburn by 2 points).
Compare that to the schedule Notre Dame has played or for that matter, even K-State. At least the 'Cats had the cojones to play a road game at Miami.
If you want us to stop being skeptical, have your conference man up and play some decent OOC road games.
