I could have easily said the same thing last week. You guys are acting like your team (or conference) did something today to stop the SEC from going to the NC..... Didn't stop all the anti-sec threads

Yes, some around here do get quite ridiculous. All I've ever claimed is that Alabama couldn't win the Super Bowl and that they weren't unbeatable.

That would be the ESPN propaganda machine. They were talking about this year's Bama being the best team college football has ever seen, and it was actually being discussed as to how well they could do in the NFL. Them winning the Super Bowl was from other boards. I don't think even the homers around here would make that claim.

At any rate, I'm almost glad the SEC is back in the picture. Have to beat the best to be the best and all that. I've wanted to see Bama/Oregon all along, though that looks like a long shot now. I really don't want to see Bama/ND, and if FSU doesn't win Florida/Bama will cause the BCS to implode. I'll be rooting for UCLA and USC next week. Obviously you can substitute Georgia for Bama anywhere in there.

It's a shame the NCAA is screwed up. Ohio State/Notre Dame would be great.

That's exactly how it should go. Of course, Georgia shouldn't get blown out by SC and FSU shouldn't collapse against NC State either.

Next weekend will be a fun one. I really think we're going to end up with another BS NC game though. Oregon shouldn't drop past 4th, maybe even 3rd, although I expect them to be out of the top 5. 2014 can't come soon enough.
