Next weekend will be a fun one. I really think we're going to end up with another BS NC game though. Oregon shouldn't drop past 4th, maybe even 3rd, although I expect them to be out of the top 5. 2014 can't come soon enough.

Don't remind me.
Projected BCS rankings:
1. ND
2. Bama
3. Georgia
4. UF
5. KSU
Looks like the SEC's guaranteed a spot in the BCS Title Game......unless Paul Johnson and/or Gene Chizik can pull rabbits out of their respective hats.

Yeah, especially since Florida has been struggling against weak competition.

Unfortunately, you're probably right. Florida and KSU will be ranked too high, along with LSU, SC and A&M. I am fine with an SEC going, it's who they're matched up against that I probably won't agree with. It's shaping up to be either an easy win, or another all SEC NCG. One good thing, an unimpressive one loss national championship leaves the remote possibility of an AP title for my Buckeyes.

If FSU beats UF, I think there's a possibility of them jumping those 3 teams.....all of whom have lost to UF. Clemson beating SC would help too. I don't have a problem if FSU doesn't make the NC game, but I have a problem with them being ranked behind three 2 loss teams, maybe even 4 if they boost Stanford up.

In my opinion FSU deserves more of a look than any of the SEC teams, except maybe Bama. Being behind any two loss teams is outrageous. I feel the same about Ohio State being behind one loss teams this late in the season.

FSU is around 6 in the human polls and about 19 in the computers. One computer poll doesnt even have them in the top 25. FSU's schedule is extremely weak, and the conference championship will be against a 7-5 or 6-6 team. FSU is a good team, probably top 5 in talent, but they dont deserve to be in NCG contention with that schedule. I'm not picking on FSU, I would have felt the same was with an undefeated Louisville or Rutgers.
FSU lost to NC State, that is awful and on par with KSU losing to Baylor.

That's why conferences should do away with divisions like the SEC has done in basketball. That way the teams with the best records will always meet in the conference championship game. With new playoff format there is definitely no reason for divisions.
