If only Utah and TCU didn't leave the MWC, they would actually be much closer to being respectable than the Big Least. Add in independent BYU and the top half of the WAC wouldn't be that bad.

They need to make up their minds already, stay or go but pick a conference and stick with it, all this conference hopping is getting old

Back into the slums where they can rule without a challenge... In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king...

Boise or TCU could have won a NC had they played a poor undefeated school, i.e. Big East or others from major conferences in a weak year (i.e 2006 Ohio St) from time to time. Luckily that wont happen now. If they ever crack the top 4, maybe they get one favorable team (Notre Dame) but they wouldnt get two. Good luck playing Oregon then turning around the next week (should they have a miracle upset) and play Alabama. One advantage to a four teamer is that teams will have to earn it. For the record, out of all the non-BCS teams over the last decade, only 2009 and 2010 TCU ever finished top four. Hawaii finished #10, 2004 Boise #9, 2006 Boise #8, 2008 Boise #9, 2009 Boise #6, 2004 Utah #6, 2008 Utah #6, 1998 Tulane #10, and 1999 Marshall #12.

2006 Ohio State is your example? Obviously that Ohio State team was out played and embarrassed, but don't mistake the talent they had on that team. They were obviously not the best team in the country that year, but there is no way a team like Boise or TCU was beating them. The best teams from the last decade from Boise or TCU couldn't have beat them. Florida's spread option gave Ohio State more than they could handle and Ohio State got away from what they had been doing all season. They were out coached as much as they were out played. Boise ran a more traditional offense and didn't have the size or speed to match Ohio State. TCU ran a spread, but they didn't have the athletes Florida had, and Florida's defense was much better than any defense TCU or Boise has ever had. Obviously there are upsets and exceptions, but I wouldn't expect it.
The rest I pretty much agree with, except maybe Notre Dame. I don't necessarily think Notre Dame is better than the top teams, but they at least belong up there.

lol Now you see what I have been dealing with. 2006 Ohio State was one of the most overrated teams of all time and started the recent SEC dominance in title games. Now I get why he is so bitter all the time.

I don't know if this is supposed to be a statement or a question, because it reads as neither.
If it's a statement, you either didn't watch any of Ohio State's 2006 season, you weren't old enough to watch football then and get your "knowledge" from the internet or you just don't know much about football. If it's a question, no it's not.
