How many snaps will he take on Sat? It doesn't matter who most of the nation is favoring unless you are betting. Bama always seem to do better as the underdog anyway.

SEC may have 6 of the top 10 teams, but Bama has only played 2 of them and neither are in the top 5. I understand what you are saying and it does show the strength of the SEC but Bama didn't lose because of all those top 10 SEC teams. If Bama had to play SC, UGA and Florida, then I would agree with you, but Bama missed playing 2 of the better SEC teams (UGA/UF)

Conference rotation is just part of the deal when you have more teams in your conference then you have games.

I think this year it means exactly that. Bama and Georgia are exactly where they should be. I'd flip ND and Oregon though. The whole country is looking forward to 25 months from now.

which is the exact reason there should be 4 conferences of 20 and you have to play everyone in your division

I agree with that. Oregon is painfully close to making the NCG. ND had a couple miracle finishes to stay unbeaten. A&M would be in the SECCG if they pulled out the LSU game. We could very easily have any of the following NCG matchups with one or two different bounces of the football.

Notre Dame vs Oregon
Alabama vs Oregon
Florida vs A&M part II
Florida vs Alabama
Georgia vs Florida part II
Stanford vs Alabama

There are a dozen more possible matchups between those teams. The point being ND, Stan, Org, Bama, UGA, LSU, Fla, A&M, Ohio St (if they took bowl ban in last years 6-6 season) were all very close to the NCG. That is what makes this sport great. Regular season games are critical. Not all are critical, but the majority are.
