Big East won't die like the WAC did, Big East will just keep pulling teams in from CUSA. Tulane, Central Florida, Houston, East Carolina... Big East will certainly have a mid major feel to it. We can officially refer to the top conferences as the big five instead of the big six. Actually we can probably say big 4, the ACC will be the next to be raided.

Pitt, Cuse, UL, RU are all gone. Cincy and UConn won't be far behind. The 3 initial teams who applied for the BE are looking at backing out. The BE is all but done. They can't even say they are a basketball school anymore. The BE will be nothing more than CUSA 1.5

Its all slowly coming together...

4 conferences of 20.

1 west
1 midwest
2 south/east

the only problem is that, its actually looking like 5 conferences as the big12 isnt fading away like i thought. if only WVU went to the acc or if texas joined the PAC instead of colorado.

WVU joining the ACC or even the B10 would have been a better fit geogrphically wise....I am still happier to be in the B12 than the other 2.
